Rinstrum LUA scripting and web interface to monitor up to 15 weigh stations

A produce processing factory needed 10 scales networked and logging to a single file with a web interface for the management to monitor how production goes. The weight for each scale appears as it becomes available and average weight and total are tracked, see video. Rinstrum now provides a custom web interface with our custom Lua applications, for monitoring on a PC, phone or tablet.

The system has a primary R420 unit that has nine R420s working back to the primary. All units have a Lua module providing an Ethernet connection onto the network. The custom print is setup to send the weight to the ethernet port when the F1 key is pressed. The primary R420 connects to each IP address and accepts the weight from each unit. The weight is added to the table on the webpage and logged with date, time and scale name, which can be readily downloaded in CSV format as required.

Rinstrum’s R400 Series indicators are available in a stainless steel or ABS housing, a range of firmware options including batching and basic printing, a multi-line display, an alphanumeric keypad and AC, DC, and Battery power options.  Our Lua modules provide Ethernet connectivity and Lua scripting customisation as an option.
