The Bridgestone World Solar Challenge 2023 is about to begin, and the teams are busy with the scrutineering process.
One part of scrutineering is weighing the solar cars and drivers, using Rinstrum scales. The weight of a solar car is important, because it affects the speed, efficiency and battery consumption. The lighter the car, the less energy it needs to move. That’s why there will be a special award for the lightest car that finishes the race, to celebrate the engineering excellence of the team.
The teams are eager to show off their innovative designs and compete for the glory of being the fastest and most sustainable solar car in the world!
