Rinstrum started working with US OEM clients in 2004 to broaden our Australian and European product offerings. Our first project was establishing new indicators for GSE, who at that time were a niche designer and manufacturer of programmable indicators in the US and the market leader in programmability. We successfully built a robust fully washdown indicator designed primarily for chicken plants. The market at that time only had stainless steel with membrane keyboard offerings which ultimately struggled in such harsh environments with high pressure washdown and chemicals. The X320 was created and brought to the US market.

Rinstrum Inc was formed in 2009 in Troy to provide local support and to develop our dealer network and OEMs. The USA is an amazing and creative country with a massive equipment manufacturer base, of which many need a weighing component. We continue to work with a very diverse dealer network on weighing solutions for animals, medical and food production to name a few. Our facility in Troy provides sales, service support and local production capability doing final assembly for our catalogue parts, customization, and consoles for the US market.

Together with our dealers we continue to develop US based solutions, new technology, solve problems, and push the boundaries. We are constantly inspired by the depth and breadth of new weighing challenges that our customers bring to us to solve. No longer are we a niche provider but one of the top weighing equipment suppliers in the USA, Canada and the Americas.
