Rinstrum began working in the European market thanks to our business with HBM dating back to 1996. Our relationship with HBM saw us establish Rinstrum Europe GmbH in Darmstadt in 2003 with Helmut Baumel as our Geschäftsführer. Being in the German market pushed Rinstrum in our design capability to gain our first European approvals in 1997. These approvals are some of the toughest globally and were foundational for Rinstrum and our ongoing approach to design and manufacturing. From there on, we have designed and built robust trade approved instrumentation and sold into many countries thanks to our German foundations. 

The power house of Europe means we have been able to work with many original equipment manufacturers who have continued to push us in our design and problem solving. Some of these relationships have spanned over 15 years. We are ever so thankful to our European clients in our journey to become a world class designer and manufacturer of weighing equipment.

Marek Swierzy, our Geschäftsführer, joined Rinstrum Europe GmbH when his company LEDiT was merged into Rinstrum. LEDiT designed and manufactured LED remote displays. This was 7 years ago and at that time saw Rinstrum move from Darmstadt north to Langenfeld. Our German office provides sales and service and is our local production capability doing final assembly for our catalogue parts and customisation. 

Rinstrum owes much to our German foundation 20 years ago, from establishing us in the European market to creating partnerships with so many stable OEMs who create substantial products that include weighing elements. Together with our partners, we continue to be inspired and push the boundaries with new weighing challenges!
