Rinstrum started in a backyard 30 years ago. Now in 2022 we celebrate that milestone as a one of the world’s leading weighing solutions providers. We now distribute throughout Australia, Europe, Asia Pacific and the Americas.  It’s been an absolute honour to work with such a great team over such a long time.   

Headquartered in Brisbane Australia, Rinstrum employs over 100 people across Australia, USA, Germany, and Sri Lanka. Our Sales and Service teams are in Australia, Germany and in two locations in the United States along with final stage manufacturing and customisation. Our Design and Engineering team is spread between Australia and Sri Lanka with our primary manufacturing operating from our own facility in Sri Lanka where all of our back of office services is also located.

As part of our 30 year journey we have a long history working with companies globally to develop specialist weighing solutions dating back to 1995. Customisation ranges from simple re-branding and bespoke firmware developed for standard product platforms, through to full custom measurement chains. We love these projects, many of these are clocking up over 15 years of continuous supply. It is these opportunities that drive innovation in the company and allow us to continually upgrade and improve our catalogue product line.

Since becoming ISO9001 certified in 1995, we have extended the reach of our accreditation across all our sites. 27 years of continuous ISO certification, combined with industry feedback and ongoing reinvestment in our tools, technologies and staff has created a global brand that we are very proud of. Quality systems are not things we have bolted onto our business, they have been the very foundations of our success and a key reason companies all over the world rely on our products.

At Rinstrum we take pride in the design and manufacture of our own industrial weighing components and we couple this deep technical expertise with a team of industry professionals who delight in solving real world weighing problems. All together we think that is pretty special.
