Customisation and OEMs  

Rinstrum has a long history of customisation and working with OEMs to develop specialist weighing solutions dating back to 1995.  This has included customers across Europe, UK, Africa, and the USA.

Customisation ranges from firmware developed on our current platforms through to full custom measurement chains.  Rinstrum’s expertise in electronics design and housing design allow us to develop custom solutions in manageable time frames and pricing.  Generally, we leverage our existing platforms to simplify the trade approval process and time to market.  We can provide custom cabling solutions to complete the measurement chain.  Matched custom load cells often complete the solution where there is high volume.

Medical Bed Manufacturer

Hanging Scale for Tea Plantations
	A custom hanging scale was developed for tea plantations in Africa.  It uses RFID to identify staff and record the weight of the product they have picked.  The battery and RFID required an adaptation to the scale housing.    Customisation: Firmware, housing, and RFID Solution, csv logging  Country: South Africa  Base Rinstrum technology: R300  Project Initiation: 2006 – ongoing

Custom Point of Sale

Specialist Animal Scales
