R420 Series Trade Approvals

The R420 is now trade approved in both Australia - approval number is NMI-S463.
These latest approvals compliment our existing OIML & NTEP approvals in Europe and the USA.

April 2006: Updated Remote Display Software

Units with Version 2.0 Software are now available.

As well as displaying data from all Ranger Instruments and Rinstrum weight indicators, these latest design remote displays are now able to receive weight data from alternate brand indicators, including:

Gedge, Toledo, A&D, Avery, PC Mode & Last Resort

The PC mode accepts alpha/numeric data from PC's & PLC's when complying with a pre-defined string format.

The Last Resort Mode uses industry standard string conventions to allow it to display basic weight data from other indicator brands not listed above (compatability not guaranteed).

Modifications to the desk stand have been made to allow the power input to now be connected or disconnected without first requiring the removal of the desk stand.

H Scale Trade Approved

The hanging scale HS300A is approved for trade use in Australia NMI No 6/13/3.  The compact H Scale is ideal for mobile suspended weighing applications - tea, flour, steel, recycling and competition fishing.

Rinstrum 1400 Profibus Module Launch

.   The 1400 translates the data from the indicators into the Profibus format.  This allows the Profibus master to effectively extract status and weight data for example from the indicators and send commands to the indicators.  The data slots are fully configurable.

The Rinstrum 1400 Profibus-DP module allows for Rinstrum indicators (5000 Series and R400 Series) and displays to be connected onto a Profibus-DP network

• Input Data – Indicator status, current weight, I/O status etc.
• Output Command Data – remote key functions, targets, flight etc.
